Four Finalists Announced for the 2025 Healthy Care, Healthy Costs Innovation Competition
Parkview Health, Butler University, and Hylant highlight innovators driving the future of affordable, accessible care
Parkview Health, Butler University, and Hylant have announced the four finalists advancing in the 2025 Healthy Care, Healthy Costs Innovation Competition, an initiative designed to reduce preventable healthcare costs and improve outcomes for high-risk populations through scalable, forward-thinking solutions.
During the semifinal pitch competition on August 28, Bedside Bike, an early-stage mobility company transforming hospital beds into exercise devices through a bedside attachment, earned the $10,000 semifinal prize.
Over the past two months, finalists have participated in a targeted accelerator program, where they have been:
- Collaborating with leaders from Butler University, Hylant, and Parkview Health
- Gaining exposure to executive leaders, funders, and potential customers
- Preparing to pitch directly to healthcare adopters
The competition will conclude on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 5:00 PM EST, when the four finalists showcase their solutions during a live, in-person Final Pitch and Networking Event at Butler University. The event is free and open to the public.
2025 Finalists:
- Bedside Bike – Transforming hospital beds into mobility devices
- Kilele Health – Reshaping chronic disease management with wearable blood chemistry sensors
- Septo – Detecting infections before symptoms appear with smart bandages
- TheraMotive – Making rehabilitation accessible for all
“Each of these teams brings a fresh, innovative approach to some of healthcare’s biggest challenges,” said Ethel Massing, Director of Parkview Strategic Enterprises and Innovation at the Parkview Mirro Center for Research and Innovation. “We’re proud to support their journey as they develop solutions with the potential to improve outcomes and transform care delivery in Indiana and beyond.”
