Digital marketing agency reflects on 20 years of remarkable partnerships
Carmel, IN – November 2024 marks two decades for TBH Creative, a woman-owned agency specializing in marketing strategy, web design, and branding. Since 2004, we’ve helped brands across industries solve complex marketing challenges under the leadership of founder Tatum Hindman.

Hindman’s belief in the power of marketing to transform business outcomes led her to develop TBH Creative’s more comprehensive approach that involves taking the time to rethink and rebuild when necessary, so clients can spend more time growing and less time putting out fires.

“Our team loves messy, complicated marketing challenges, and we’re profoundly thankful to have partners who trust us to dive into that work. Gratitude for our partners is at the heart of this celebration,” says Hindman.

TBH Creative has nurtured long-term partnerships through its time-tested commitment to results and accountability. Nearly 90% of the agency’s clients have worked with them for over four years, far surpassing industry standards for longevity.

In the last twenty years, TBH Creative has partnered with healthcare systems, nonprofits, B2B service providers, and technology innovators, including NCAA, The Strategic Coach, Florida Orthopaedic Institute, Franciscan Health, United Way, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Baker Hill, and Traders Point Christian Church.

“As the premier business coaching program for entrepreneurs, we can’t help but think about strategy and long-term outcomes. We were delighted to find our match in TBH Creative. Their work helped us think smarter and work more efficiently to reach the entrepreneurs we love to work with most,” says Lynda Spencer, senior growth strategy and digital marketing manager at The Strategic Coach. “TBH Creative always takes the time to find creative solutions. TBH is one of the most organized and responsive vendors I’ve ever engaged with, delivering an incredible product.”

“TBH Creative was the perfect fit for Florida Orthopaedic Institute at a time when we needed them the most. We engaged them to enhance our branding in the market, design and replace our website, and redesign our digital marketing approach,” says Lee Levanduski, chief operating officer at Florida Orthopaedic Institute. “TBH Creative has a track record of success with orthopedic practices, and they exceeded our expectations with the project deliverables. In a short period, we’re already seeing a return on our investment.”

In addition to standing out for the lifetime of both our agency and partnerships, TBH Creative is among the less than 1% of advertising agencies in North America owned by a woman. Hindman has been a key voice for gender equity in technology and marketing at a time when women control over 80% of consumer spending, yet 91% report feeling misunderstood by marketers.*

TBH Creative’s mission has always been to provide companies with strategic branding, marketing, and website services that enable them to reach their business goals. These 20 years have only strengthened our capacity to deliver on that mission. Hindman and her team are committed to staying ahead of marketing, design, and technology trends to ensure their partners always break through plateaus and reach their goals.

“We’ve really come to fully trust the TBH Creative team, their recommendations, and their overall strategies when it comes to our digital campaign initiatives,” says Maggie Sketch, former senior marketing manager for the Illinois Bone & Joint Institute. “They took the time to get to know IBJI, as well as our distinct challenges and objectives, to craft campaigns that are not only based on best-practice knowledge but also fine-tuned to get the best results with our specific targets in our region.”

With more than half of our team members on board for over eight years, our internal culture is as strong as our external partnerships. We attribute our two decades of success to teamwork, a passion for innovation, and an unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and on budget.

“I’ve never seen this team shrink away from a challenge. The more complicated the work, the more energized we feel – and the more fun we have. That’s been true since I joined the team in 2020, and it’s why I plan to stick around,” says Katie Gerrity, vice president of operations at TBH Creative.

The entire TBH Creative team is proud of the agency’s longevity. Undaunted by complex challenges, they plan to continue pushing boundaries for the brands that trust us to unleash the power of strategy, artistry, and innovation.

“We didn’t get here alone,” says Hindman. “We’re grateful for our clients who have allowed us to be an extension of their teams and given us the green light to do what we do best.”

Hindman wants to thank everyone who has made TBH Creative’s first 20 years possible, from the clients who have trusted the agency to tell its stories to the staff—past and present—on her innovative team. Here’s to the next successful chapter.
