“The Other AI” Shines Spotlight on Human-Centered Innovation During Indiana Women in Tech Week
Indianapolis – August 4, 2025
As Indiana’s tech sector continues to grow, one question remains: Are we preparing people, not just products, for the future?
That’s the focus of The Other AI: Adaptability and Innovation, a powerful half-day experience hosted by Indiana natives Jeni McIntosh Elkins, a graduate of both Ball State University and Indiana University, and DeNeen K. Attard, an Indiana University alumna and takes place Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 16 Tech Innovation District as part of Indiana Women in Tech Week.
Created to elevate the visibility, voices, and impact of women in the state’s tech ecosystem, Indiana Women in Tech Week is more than a celebration; it’s a call to action. The Other AI answers that call by centering the conversation on leadership, emotional intelligence, and the soft skills that drive real innovation.
With a curated panel of diverse leaders, actionable takeaways, and space for authentic connection, The Other AI offers something the community urgently needs: a reset on how we lead, grow, and thrive in Indiana’s innovation economy.
