Application Administrator

Direct Connect Logistics
Indianapolis
3-5 years
IT Infrastructure
Full-time

Job Description

We’re looking for a hands-on Application Administrator who’s excited to take ownership of the business applications that keep our logistics operations moving. Salesforce will be a big part of your day-to-day, but this role goes beyond a single platform — you’ll also help manage, improve, and support a variety of tools across the business. If you like the idea of being the go-to person for applications, solving problems, and making technology work better for people, this could be a great fit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Act as the primary administrator for Salesforce: managing users, security, workflows, automations, and integrations.

· Support and maintain other applications that keep our teams running (such as TMS, sourcing, finance, and communication tools as well as custom applications).

· Work closely with teams to understand their needs and configure applications to make their work easier and more efficient.

· Handle user access, onboarding/offboarding, and license management across all systems.

· Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with vendors or IT partners when deeper support is needed.

· Create and update documentation, how-to guides, and training resources.

· Provide training and ongoing support to help users get the most out of the tools we use.

· Keep an eye on new features, updates, and opportunities to improve how our applications work together.

Job Requirements

· 3+ years of Salesforce administration experience (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud) preferred but not required. Certification is a big plus.

· Experience managing and supporting a variety of SaaS applications.

· Comfortable with data management, reporting, and integrations between systems.

· Strong problem-solving skills and a resourceful, “figure-it-out” mindset.

· Good communicator who can explain technical things in simple terms.

· Someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys juggling different responsibilities.

Company Information

We are a leading- multi-modal, North American Transportation brokerage. DCL services customers of all sizes, with specific expertise in cold chain shipping.
