Reporting to the Sr. Director – R&D Tech@Lilly – Clinical Design & Operations, the Associate Director – Clinical Design will have direct responsibility for overseeing the implementation of business process enablement, automation, and innovation projects and service management of resulting solutions. This role will partner closely with the Clinical Design, Clinical Central Services, Investigator Experience, Trial Capabilities, Finance, and Clinical Trial Foundation business organizations to enable their needs. This role will also partner closely with the other R&D Tech @ Lilly, SPE Tech @ Lilly, AADS Tech @ Lilly, and Digital Core Tech @ Lilly teams to enable the portfolio of needs.
This position manages a direct staff of administrative and technical professionals with an overall organization of approximately 6-8 direct staff , 8 dotted line staff, and a large contingent of contractors. This Associate Director works with business and R&D Tech@Lilly leadership to determine and assist in resourcing appropriate for the Tech@Lilly portfolio. This leader will also be expected to partner with external strategic partners who bring relevant technical and domain experience to accelerate the business transformation and enablement agenda.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$124,500 – $182,600
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
