We’re looking for an IT Administrator who’s passionate about technology and enjoys keeping systems secure, connected, and running smoothly. In this role, you’ll be hands-on with our hardware, infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity. You’ll make sure our team has reliable tools, a safe environment, and the technical foundation we need to succeed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage and monitor our network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi).
Implement and oversee security practices, including system patching, endpoint protection, and threat monitoring.

Set up, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, servers, and other hardware.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for team members.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across systems.
Maintain IT documentation for hardware, network diagrams, processes, and policies.
Support business continuity by monitoring backups and ensuring disaster recovery plans are in place.

Stay current on security trends and recommend improvements to strengthen our defenses.
Partner with leadership to plan infrastructure upgrades and improvements as the company grows.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in IT administration, systems administration, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi, switching/routing).
• Hands-on experience with hardware setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and tools (endpoint security, patch management, vulnerability scanning).
• Solid understanding of Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Problem-solver who can balance day-to-day support with long-term improvements.
• Clear communicator with a team-focused, approachable style.
