About the job

About Zinc Partners

At Zinc Partners, we exist to help organizations unlock the full potential of Salesforce. As a dedicated Salesforce consulting partner, we focus on optimizing, growing, and innovating on the platform to deliver measurable results. Our culture is grounded in three core values—Innovation, Integrity, and Impact in Every Engagement—which guide how we collaborate with clients and each other.

Role Overview – Marketing Cloud Architect

We’re searching for a Marketing Cloud Architect who can lead customer‑facing marketing workstreams, connect business objectives to platform capabilities, and design cross‑cloud engagement strategies that convert prospects and deepen loyalty. You’ll be the functional bridge between C‑suite marketers and technical delivery teams—owning solution vision for Marketing Cloud Advanced (the newest edition built on Data Cloud), Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), and their integration with Sales & Service Cloud.

If you excel at translating marketing strategy into scalable Salesforce solutions—and you enjoy shaping data‑driven, AI‑powered experiences—let’s talk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery & strategy workshops with CMOs, VPs of Marketing, and revenue teams to uncover goals, KPIs, audience segments, and content journeys.
  • Translate those insights into omnichannel engagement architectures (journeys, automations, channel mix, testing plans) across Marketing Cloud Advanced, Account Engagement, and core CRM.
  • Define the data strategy—identity resolution, consent models, segmentation logic—leveraging Salesforce Data Cloud to create a real‑time, unified customer profile.
  • Guide campaign measurement frameworks, dashboards, and reporting that align marketing activity to pipeline and revenue impact.
  • Collaborate with Zinc developers and client IT teams to ensure integrations, data models, and governance meet functional requirements and industry regulations.
  • Provide thought leadership on marketing best practices, AI/Einstein use cases, and emerging Salesforce capabilities; mentor consultants and client teams.
  • Support pre‑sales and roadmap conversations, articulating the business value of Marketing Cloud Advanced and related solutions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years architecting data‑driven marketing programs on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (B2C) and/or Account Engagement (B2B), with proven success in a consulting or in‑house marketing operations role.
  • Demonstrated ability to map customer journeys, segmentation schemes, and KPIs to platform features—then communicate that blueprint to both executives and technical teams.
  • Hands‑on experience with Marketing Cloud Advanced Editionfeature set (e.g., Path Experimenter, Unified Conversations for WhatsApp, advanced AI insights).
  • Strong working knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud data models and how they support lead, pipeline, and service workflows.
  • Experience designing or governing Data Cloud ingestion, harmonization, and activation processes; Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification (or plan to earn within 6 months) preferred.
  • Familiarity with privacy and consent regulations (GDPR, CCPA, CASL) and how they translate into functional platform designs.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Marketing Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Administrator, Marketing Cloud Advanced (new, when available), and/or Data Cloud Consultant strongly preferred.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills—able to tell a compelling story and drive consensus.
