Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Commit to the delivery of the sold project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Help to define scope of work for DaaS clients
  • Collaborate with technical lead on project plans and timelines
  • Allocate, monitor, and adjust resources as needed
  • Oversee the work of development team over the duration of projects/DaaS agreements
  • Manage project budgets, escalating where concerns arise and collaboratively authoring change orders as needed
  • Track project/task expenses and ensure costs do not exceed the budgeted estimations
  • Responsible for the oversight of effective rate of DaaS agreements
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Implement contingency plans as needed
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align to project objective and scope
  • Conduct regular quality checks on development through PM Review process
  • Organize and facilitate internal project reviews to monitor progress
  • Organize and facilitate client iteration meetings to demo progress and discuss next steps and feedback
  • Track project progress against objectives and planned task dates
  • Use project management tools to monitor performance
  • Regularly survey clients to gauge sentiment on project and project team
  • Act as liaison between clients and development team, providing updates to both parties ensuring that the project remains on schedule to hit deadlines
  • Prepare and present project updates to senior management
  • Complete monthly CSM summaries for qualifying clients
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Ensure all project records are accurate and up-to-date
  • Assist in the documentation of DB’s internal project management processes
  • Confirm that all project deliverables have been completed and meet the required quality standards
  • Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and stored in a central repository
  • Reconcile any outstanding financial issues and confirm that the project is within the allocated budget
  • Update and archive all project records according to organizational policies
  • Participate in post-project evaluations and own resulting lessons learned and action items
  • Implement improvements based on feedback and project outcomes
  • Promote project management best practices and methodologies

Qualifications

  • Prior Project Management experience in a team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree and or 3-5 years industry experience
  • Product Owner Certification or similar credential preferred
  • FileMaker experience preferred
  • Experience collaborating between all levels of staff
  • Ability to stick to project schedules and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of software lifecycle development practices and standards
  • Drive to continuously improve processes and company technologies
  • Ability to create lasting relationships with teams, vendors, partners, and leadership
  • Familiarity with EOS methodology is a plus
  • Must reside in Indiana, Ohio, New York, Texas, or Colorado
