Carvana’s Marketplace team is at the heart of our mission to change the way people buy cars. We build the business-to-business systems and software that empower ADESA auto auctions to effectively produce, list, and sell vehicles.

We’re looking for a skilled Engineer to join us in creating innovative solutions for our customers and internal users. In this role, you’ll support the development of our new digital auction website and build secure, robust systems for over 1,200 internal auction employees.

As a member of our team, you’ll significantly impact our marketplace applications and contribute directly to Carvana’s success. Our highly competent and driven engineers are located across the East Coast and Central regions. What You’ll Bring

We’re seeking an engineer who has:

3+ years of progressive software development experience, with consistently advancing skills and responsibilities.
Expertise in contemporary JavaScript/TypeScript (ES2015+), React Hooks, Next.js, and Nx.
Experience with .NET Core and C#.
A passion for learning new programming languages.
Experience working with data storage (SQL or NoSQL).
Proficiency in writing unit tests.
Experience in debugging and troubleshooting web services, APIs, and libraries.
Strong communication and collaboration skills. Carvana developers work very closely with supportive teams, requiring great interpersonal skills, including a positive attitude and sense of humor.
