We’re seeking multiple experienced Storage & Backup Operations Engineers to drive our global technical operations of Storage & Backups within our Infrastructure Hosting Platform. You’ll be at the forefront of developing and supporting the engineering and operations of Storage and Backup Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) capabilities hosted both on-premises and in Public Cloud.
You will work in our Infrastructure Hosting Platform area leading the global technical operations of Storage and Backup capabilities for Lilly. Additionally, you would be working with the Storage Engineering team on strategy for on-premises private cloud and public IaaS Storage Block and Files services.
This role will strive to improve our Storage and Backup infrastructure service. . Our goal is to improve all aspects of our infrastructure availability and reliability through repeatable patterns, new architectural designs, improvements in observability to prevent outages to help increase value across the organization. The role will work with our global Lilly operations SMEs and other platform infrastructure operations SME to deliver the daily operations associated with this area.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$63,750 – $145,200
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
