Event Description
Join us to celebrate the opening of a one-of-a-kind multi-modal bridge that will transform connectivity for the Near West and Near Northwest side of Indianapolis.
Spanning Fall Creek at West 10th Street and Riley Hospital Drive, the 16 Tech bridge connects the 16 Tech Innovation District to Indianapolis’ research and medical corridor and the city’s wider trail and greenway network, including the recent Indiana Avenue expansion of the Indianapolis Cultural Trail: A Legacy of Gene & Marilyn Glick. Funded by the City of Indianapolis and Lilly Endowment Inc., the bridge will become a permanent piece of our City's public infrastructure.
You'll be one of the first to experience this iconic piece of architecture, shaped by the collective vision of our community.
Connect with other community and civic leaders, neighbors and friends of 16 Tech as we mark this milestone for Indianapolis. Attendees will enjoy live music, remarks and beverages/light bites.
