Event Description
In this first of three workshops, you’ll dive into the world of creating an Internet of Things device. Not only will you learn how to make two Bluetooth chips communicate with each other, but you’ll also discover how to use Arduino to interface with them. It’s important to note that you won’t take home a physical device from this workshop – it’s all about learning and gaining valuable skills.
This workshop will cover beginner-level introductions to reading circuit diagrams, using a protoboard, soldering, Bluetooth communication and coding, CAD, and the choice between laser cutting and 3D printing for creating enclosures. Each workshop is designed to stand on its own, so don’t worry if you can’t attend all three – you’ll still walk away with valuable insights.
