2023 IMBW Community Design Thinking Session: Talent Development

Event Description

Design Thinking is a human-centered process rooted in the belief that innovation starts with bringing people together, then working to better understand and meet their needs. We must fully understand the challenge at hand and how it impacts those around it.

Together, we have an opportunity to redesign, rebuild and reconstruct obsolete educational and economic systems nationwide to better cultivate the enormous value we see hidden in untapped talent within disconnected marginalized populations in urban settings.

Our goal is to approach problem-solving and opportunity creation in our community differently by ensuring that the people who face these problems every day should be at the table to design solutions.

These Design Thinking sessions will offer policymakers, executives, and corporations a chance to develop with communities, rather than for them. Gain a deeper understanding of the people you're looking to serve, dream up scores of ideas, and create innovative new solutions rooted in people's actual needs.
