2025 ACC InVenture Prize

Event Description

The IDEA Center is proud to host the 2025 ACC Inventure Prize, an innovation competition with teams of undergraduates from each Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) member university.

Join us as teams from across the ACC pitch their inventions or businesses before a live audience to a panel of judges. $30,000 in prizes and a chance to be the next ACC InVenture Prize winner will be awarded. The event will also be broadcast on live TV via PBS stations near ACC member campuses.

A New Type of ACC Competition

For decades ACC Universities have battled it out on sports fields and courts, but now the ACC's best minds come together for a competition like no other. The Atlantic Coast Conference InVenture Prize is a collaborative effort by institutional leadership from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). It represents an opportunity to stimulate undergraduate entrepreneurial activity and increase student-faculty engagement, to celebrate and highlight the exceptional creativity and ingenuity of our students, and to inspire a greater sense of camaraderie across the conference.

The ACC InVenture Prize is an innovation competition in which teams of undergraduates representing each ACC university pitch their inventions or businesses before a live audience and a panel of judges. Teams compete for $30,000 in prizes and a chance to be the next ACC InVenture Prize winner.
