Event Description

On Saturday, March 25th, American Chemical Society will sponsor an event at Indianapolis’s Concord Neighborhood Center. Participants will enjoy hands-on science activities, the opportunity to meet real chemists, and educational giveaways.

This is a free event! Please volunteer to help us deliver the following STEM activities to the students and their guardians and chaperones.

Bursting Boba
Connect with String Slime
I Spy Photosynthesis
Plants vs. Algae
Self-Inflating Balloons
Indicator Alligator
Volunteers are needed from 9:00 am -3:00 pm to prepare for, facilitate, and clean-up from hands-on activities. Lunch and a volunteer tee shirt will be provided. There will also be a pre-event Zoom meeting for volunteers to ask any questions and learn important information.
