Mavris Arts & Event Center

Event Description

Nearly 7 million Americans aged 65 and older have Alzheimer’s dementia according to the Alzheimer’s Association. With many Baby Boomers in their late 50s, 60s, and 70s, the number of people affected will continue spiking upward. In fact, from 2020 to 2025, the number of Hoosiers with Alzheimer’s will jump 18 percent.

Fortunately for people everywhere, Indiana’s life sciences community is collectively focused on conquering this vexing, devastating disease. Several Hoosier organizations – from established pharmaceutical companies to newer startups and major research universities – are developing ground-breaking interventions that could make outcomes more promising for patients and their families.

The annual Indiana Life Sciences Summit – hosted by BioCrossroads on November 9 in downtown Indianapolis – will feature compelling conversations and expert analyses on how Indiana is addressing one of the most devastating diseases of our time – and how the work could change lives forever. The program at the Mavris Arts & Event Center will feature researchers, physicians, advocates, caregivers, and others who are making a difference for patients.

Starting August 16, you can register at the early bird rate of $99. Full-price tickets, at $129.00, will be available starting September 18 until we sell out. We hope you join us to learn how Indiana is making a real difference in the lives of people with Alzheimer’s – and what more must be done.

Our event will include light breakfast, lunch, and networking opportunities at the end of the day allowing you to distill what you've heard and continue this important conversation.
