Event Description
DeAndre Wilson lives by example as a change agent by developing more inclusive, and accessible channels for entrepreneurs to get necessary resources, mentoring and support for long term success in his community. Since launching the Keep Rolling Campaign and a catering company, Turn Table Catering, DeAndre's most recent endeavor with business partner Merrick Korach is a collaborative community project to open a shared-use kitchen for foodpreneurs. He earned an Associates Degree in Hospitality Administration from Ivy Tech Community College.
Merrick Korach is a grassroots advocate, community developer, and entrepreneur. He has spent years on the ground listening to youth and adults, mentoring, and advocating for sustainable change and tangible impact. His most recent endeavors involves launching Bedford Collab, a for profit shared commercial kitchen with a unique business model to keep overhead cost down; as well as, co-founded a 501(c)3 organization to support entrepreneurs who are often marginalized.
DeAndre and Merrick will be discussing in detail what Bedford Collab is and what the impact Bedford Collab will have on the Evansville community.
