Join HeroHut and Venture Vets for a night of networking and hearing from A-Jay Orr - veteran, author, and entrepreneur.

A-Jay Orr, PMP is a 3x Award-Winning Author, United States Army Veteran, Cancer Survivor, iternationally Certified Project Manager, founder of The Ohio Veterans Collaborative, and the CEO of Simple Plan IT. He is a digital risk management expert with more than 15 years of experience in the ever-evolving field of echnology and cybersecurity. He is the expert companies rely on to provide sophisticated solutions to achieve business growth and maintain compliance. Through his work he helps business leaders to create and implement a framework that allows them to “futureproof” their business. His company, Simple Plan IT, utilizes behavior-based security solutions to protect businesses from cyberattacks that target their people, control systems, robotics, IoT and other smart devices that often times go undetected.

Venture Vets is a new community initiative to help veterans, first responders, and spouses create businesses. Powered by Community Development Resources, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to community economic growth, and focused on creating sustainable business models by blending ideas, innovators, process, and resources.

HeroHut is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization with the mission to support and encourage veterans of all generations to discover a civilian life defined by service and surrounded by community. By bringing together a diverse group of like-minded organizations we seek to create a welcoming, low pressure place for veterans to learn about services and opportunities available to them, build friendships, and forge a connection to their local community. In conjunction with that, we take pride in honoring others that serve their communities in a variety of fashions, including first responders, volunteers, and nonprofits.
