Event Description

IU alum Jean Ross is the CEO and Co-founder of Primary Record, an app designed to provide families with a secure platform to organize, collaborate, and share health data. As a second-degree nurse, Jean's career began in critical care before she expanded her focus to the community, driven by her passion for supporting older adults and family caregivers. She chairs the Community Health Network's Indy Region Patient and Family Advisory Council, serves as an advisor and Volunteer Advocate at Shepherd's Center in Hamilton County, and is a volunteer legislative lobbyist for AARP.

Additionally, Jean is a Dementia Champion with Dementia Friends Indiana, having made over 500 Dementia Friends in her state. She leads a monthly Caregiver 101 series at Daughterhood.org, aimed at supporting women who are taking on the care of their parents.

Jean is motivated by the belief that no one should face the challenges of navigating our healthcare system for their family members alone.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Jean is the eldest daughter of aging parents, a mother to three sons—Jonas, Ian, and Otis—and the proud wife of Dr. Christian Ross.
