January Innovation Workshop

Event Description

An Innovation Workshop teaches students to view problems as opportunities by looking at the world through a lens of innovation and entrepreneurship - encouraging young people to think outside the box as they propose unique and creative solutions to real-world issues.

This event provides a platform for community members, business leaders, and mentors will join in supporting students in building their innovative ideas and guide them in how to use their problem to build a functioning business.

The day will begin with STARTedUP outlining what it means to think with an entrepreneurial mindset then Pacers Sports & Entertainment will present a challenge for the different students to solve. Students will present their solutions and receive feedback from attendees. After the challenge, students will meet with mentors and receive feedback on their business model or idea they have been working on for the past few months. The day will conclude with lunch for students and guests.

This event is open to all who believe in the power of innovation and entrepreneurship! Invitees have the option to observe during the event or participate as a mentor for the high school students.
