As DC fast charger (DCFC) demands are rapidly increasing, system-level simulations of such complex power electronic applications are going to be invaluable for virtual prototyping. Using a simulation tool that delivers first time-right design results is critical to shorten time to market while achieving maximum system performance. We will demonstrate a state-of-art accurate simulation flow that deploys the novel Elite Power Simulator and the industry first Self-Service PLECS Model Generator with our EliteSiC module based 25kW fast DC charger reference design. Introduce you to advantages of the simulation tools through simulation of an AC-DC active front end (or PFC) 3-phase line 6-pack boost stage and a DC-DC isolated dual active bridge in which the first generation of the EliteSiC 1200 V 10 mohm power module is deployed.
