Basic Tech that Every Founder Should Know
Roger Deetz, VP of Engineering at Blueprint and Founder & CEO of IN Tech for Progress, knows first-hand that founders should be prepared for anything - especially when it comes to tech. On Wednesday, August 2 Roger will share useful approaches for launching digital products, recommendations for choosing the best approach for your product, and helpful tips to help you avoid common pitfalls. This Startup Study Hall is appropriate useful for all members - we hope to see you there!

Startup Study Hall
Startup Study Halls provide the structure, consistency, and accountability to help you focus on moving your idea forward. Executive Mentors focus on one topic specific to starting up and/or scaling a business. Mentors provide case studies and actionable next steps so that what you learn in Study Hall can be applied immediately to your business.

BIO OF ROGER
Roger Deetz is an experienced technology leader with 20+ years of experience as a software developer, designer, architect, and executive. Currently Vice President of Engineering at Blueprint, Roger's previous leadership positions include Vice President of Technology at Springbuk, Vice President of Engineering at Angie's List, and Founder and CEO of IN Tech for Progress.

The rest of Roger's colorful resume includes, most recently, working as an architect at Double-Take (now Carbonite), as well as an architect, designer, and developer at InstallShield (now Flexera). Before that, he was a dairy farmer, 4-H club president, Dekalb High School Student Council President, WIFF-AM 1570 weekend morning DJ, and Indiana University Kelley School of Business Honors Program graduate.

Roger happily lives in Indianapolis with his wife, Amber, and two daughters. He enjoys cooking, running, cheerleading for the tech community, and traveling the world shooting with his Nikon.
