In this class, students will learn basic woodworking terminology, shop policies, general rules, safety, and proper use of woodworking equipment. This will be learned through a Woodshop Overview PowerPoint, a Safety Walkthrough, and a hands-on experience utilizing the woodshop tools to process rough-sawn lumber into milled lumber using basic woodworking techniques to create a custom charcuterie board!
If this is your first time attending one of our classes, please make sure to arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for filling out a liability waiver. This waiver is necessary to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment during the class. Please note that if you arrive later than 10 minutes past the scheduled start time, you will not be able to attend the class. Punctuality is important to maintain the flow of the session and respect other participants’ time.Admission
