There were 15 publicly announced instances of Indiana tech companies raising capital or obtaining grant money in the second quarter of 2019 totalling over $42 million.

There were 14 publicly announced capital raises in the first quarter of 2019 by Indiana tech companies totaling nearly $88 million. In addition, 11 Indiana tech companies were involved in mergers and acquisitions.

The fourth quarter of 2018 turned out to be a busy one for both venture capital investments and acquisitions in Indiana. Over $45 million in funding was publicly announced, with $34.8 million going to Scale Computing of Indianapolis in one of the largest capital raises for a tech company in Indiana in recent years.

During the third quarter of 2018,  there were eight publicly announced capital raises by Indiana tech companies with a combined total of over $23 million in funding along with a $100 million raise by local venture studio, High Alpha.
