INDIANAPOLIS — Freight brokerage Hookset Solutions is expanding its footprint in downtown Indianapolis and plans to grow its current workforce of four people to 30 over the next five years.

Hookset Solutions streamlines its clients’ logistics processes, handling everything from negotiating rates to ensuring compliance with shipping regulations. By coordinating schedules, tracking shipments, and resolving issues that arise during transit, the company
helps shippers minimize delays and manage costs effectively.

“We’re very serious about helping the “Crossroads of America” the goal is to have steady and consistent growth,” said Hookset Solutions CEO Tristan McClone. “Our team has a deep understanding of servicing customers at a high level and implementing creative solutions to help their supply chain. We want to expand our footprint with Indiana based companies and continue our upward trajectory.”

Hookset Solutions does not own trucks or directly transport products. Instead, it leverages a network of trucking companies to connect shippers with carriers with the capacity, routes and equipment to meet specific shipping needs. This allows shippers to find
reliable transportation without having to navigate the complexities of managing logistics themselves, while carriers benefit from consistent business sourced by the brokerage.

Based on the company’s plans to create 30 new jobs by the end of 2028, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) committed an investment in Hookset Solutions of up to $250,000 in incentive-based tax credits. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning the company is eligible to claim incentives once Hoosiers are hired.

“Indiana’s central location and competitive business climate make it an ideal hub for small businesses with big plans,” said Ann Lathrop, chief strategy officer at the IEDC. “Hookset Solutions’ expansion here in Indianapolis will not only bolster our entrepreneurial ecosystem, but it will create new career opportunities for talented professionals and add to the state’s reputation as a national leader in logistics.”

Jenny Massey, director of site selection and incentives at Sikich, which helped the company secure state incentives, said the company’s nationwide reach will enhance Indiana’s reputation as logistics leader.
