Lafayette, Ind. — North Star Systems, a leading provider of innovative solutions for the agriculture, IT, municipalities, and oil and gas industries, today announced the creation of 30 new, high-paying jobs at its Lafayette, Ind. operations. This expansion reflects the company's commitment to driving economic growth and delivering exceptional service to its clients across multiple fields.

“We are excited to expand our team as we continue to empower businesses with cutting-edge solutions," said Nathan Smith, CEO and Co-Founder of North Star Systems. "These new positions are not just jobs: they are opportunities for talented individuals to be part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of agriculture, energy and IT."

North Star Systems has established itself as a trusted partner for businesses seeking to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and innovate within their industries, said Jenny Massey, director of site selection and incentives at Sikich, which helped North Star Systems with its expansion.

“By expanding its workforce, North Star Systems addresses the region's demand for skilled labor and supports the broader economic shift towards advanced technologies and sustainable practices. This strengthens the Midwest's economic landscape, making it a hub for innovation and industrial leadership,” Massey said.

In support of North Star Systems’ plans to hire 30 new employees by the end of 2033, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) has committed up to $100,000 in performance-based tax credits. These credits will be available as the company meets its hiring goals, ensuring a results-driven incentive structure.

Lafayette Mayor Tony Roswarski welcomed the expansion.

“Greater Lafayette is known as ‘Indiana’s Smartest Working Region’ thanks to our unique combination of Purdue University and our diverse range of leading manufacturers,” Roswarski said. “These manufacturers span industries such as automotive, aerospace, ag-tech, heavy equipment, and life sciences among others. They recognize the challenges faced by both large and early-stage companies and are dedicated to helping them scale successfully. North Star Systems is a key part of this ecosystem, and we expect this growth announcement will not be their last.”

Smith said the region’s environment will empower North Star Systems to continue to create a powerful and meaningful impact on its community, while achieving its ambitious growth goals.
