Indianapolis, Ind. – Ten early-stage companies have been selected to participate in two startup accelerator programs, through the national venture capital firm gener8tor:

gBETA “5G: SaaS, AI, Web 3.0”, directed by Davide Dantonio
gBETA “Agbioscience”, directed by Camilo Lozano

gBETA is a free accelerator program designed to set a path for startups to pursue investment and growth opportunities. Startup Founders receive intensive concierge coaching and access to gener8tor's national network of mentors, customers, corporate partners and investors.

The 10 startups were selected by Davide Dantonio and Camilo Lozano from a competitive pool of applicants locally and nationwide based on their growth potential and/or investor readiness. During the programs, they are introduced to the best practices of scaling and fundraising, as well as introduced to the resources available in Indiana and to the local stakeholder ecosystem.

The gBETA Agbioscience program is made possible by a partnership with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC), Beck's Hybrids, Ag Alumni Seed, and AgriNovus Indiana.

At the end of the gBETA program, the startup founders will present their companies to investors and accelerators at 16 Tech Innovation Center, 1220 Waterway Blvd. in Indianapolis, on the following dates:

gBETA Agbioscience Fall 2023

CropMind leverages computer vision and AI tools to provide full plant life cycle insights for the tree fruit crop (orchards & vineyards) industry. Utilizing a subscription model, CropMind provides benchmark data and yield prediction models that guides consistent high quality crop yield with off-the-shelf imaging hardware. CropMind initially launched a 100 acres pilot to train its analytics tool and to develop a platform powered by its proprietary plant life cycle algorithm. CropMind plans to offer its services to customers by March 2024.

NTP Technologies uses only air and electricity to generate onsite sustainable substitutes for synthetic nitrogen fertilizers. NTP initially targets forward-thinking farmers including indoor farming (hydroponic, aeroponic, or soil-based) and small outdoor farms that are farming 365 days a year. NTP's initial machines are being used in trials while our next-generation commercial system has been designed and will increase output by 100x.

Rogue.ai is developing hybrid-electric spraying drones with the industry's highest payload capabilities for the agricultural market. Rogue.ai products will allow existing Ag Service companies to provide precision aerial spraying services to their customer bases. Rogue.ai has secured $400,000 worth of pre-orders for our hybrid vehicles to date.

Quorum Bio engineers biofertilizers using a novel gene-editing method that powers its discovery and engineering of non-model microbes to boost crop yields by at least 10%. Row crop farmers will prefer Quorum’s products because they are 7x cheaper than synthetics, drop into growers’ preferred agronomic practices, and deliver a higher ROI than competing products. Quorum Bio has exclusive rights to its gene-editing technology and has discovered and engineered 200 microbes to date.

GreenBasket is empowering farmers with advanced market analytics and a streamlined approach to food distribution. The platform offers a comprehensive dashboard featuring real-time market prices, consumer demand data, and decision tools for pricing and production. GreenBasket integrates real-time consumer purchase data and establishes an online marketplace that features community distribution hubs (CropSpots) to reduce delivery costs. GreenBasket secured first place and a $25,000 award at the HungerTech Innovation Challenge by AgriNovus Indiana.

HUMN Capital’s SaaS platform offers AI-powered manager coaching. HUMN Capital provides on-the-job training by shadowing managers during employee interactions and offers data intelligence to C-suite leaders to address the $960B cost of ineffective management. Great managers enable teams to be 2.5x more engaged, 21% more profitable, and 17% more productive. HUMN Capital has received $60K in investments from Elevate Ventures and has two paid pilots with five active users from Purdue University and Heritage Group generating $250 in MRR. The beta is launching in November 2023.

Outreach Magic has total revenue of $121K over the last 12 months from full-service outreach clients and 10+ positive testimonials on the effectiveness of the SaaS solution.

Desync.ai’s platform offers startups easy access to AI capabilities for the fundraising process, from data intelligence to outbound campaigns. Desync.ai cuts through the noise in investors’ inboxes by automating the delivery of hyper-customized emails enriched by data from Crunchbase, Pitchbook, Linkedin and other sources. This reduces the time to craft and send messages while increasing the conversion on average by 10x.
Desync.ai has generated $50,000+ in revenue within the first two months of operations. Desync.ai is helping 10+ startups and has secured 6 VCs as clients for portfolio support and fundraising initiatives.

Timbucktoo’s collectibles marketplace allows creators of high-end physical products to forever profit from the resales of their work, and securely transfer the ownership to collectors. Through AI and smart-contract technology, Timbucktoo solves the pain point of fraud and counterfeit within the collectibles industry, which results in yearly $10B+ of lost revenue. As a key benefit of Timbucktoo, collectors can join exclusive communities where the artist organizes in-person events around their collection.
Timbucktoo has enabled $7,000 in art sales on the platform, captured $1,600 in commission, and gained access to a network of over 250+ creators and 1,000 affluent professionals (e.g. The Gathering Spot). On December 9th, 2023, Timbucktoo is hosting an event for Art Basel for collectors to patronize 10 artists and 10 local businesses. This will initiate a year-long campaign to onboard 100,000 users by the end of 2024.

Guama provides the first credit card for LatAm's underbanked population that doesn't require a credit score or collateral. Guama leverages open-banking technology and AI/ML underwriting models to assess creditworthiness. By accessing the users’ pre-existing bank accounts, Guama calculates income, repayment probability, and approves credit card requests from 80% of Latin Americans who have insufficient credit history.

Guama signed a 5-year exclusivity deal with VISA valued at $3.1M and holds the all-time record for the fastest integration with Pomelo (LatAm's biggest card issuer). Guama has over 1,300 users on the waiting list and has raised $150K from F&F, angel investors, and VISA.
