INDIANAPOLIS (April 6, 2026): The CEOs of Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) and TechPoint, the nonprofit industry-led growth initiative for Indiana’s digital innovation economy, announced today that Eric Christopher will serve as TechPoint’s next president and CEO, effective April 7.

With more than 20 years of experience securing venture capital and scaling high-growth software companies, Christopher is recognized as a leader across Indiana’s tech community and throughout the tech industry nationally. Having served as a TechPoint board member since 2018, Christopher has led efforts to expand support and resources for local tech talent to fuel sustained economic growth.

“Eric brings the leadership and vision needed to build on Indiana’s growing momentum in technology and digital innovation,” said Aman Brar, a member of the TechPoint Board. “As artificial intelligence and emerging technologies reshape industries and create new opportunities, TechPoint plays a critical role in convening leaders, supporting the tech ecosystem and strengthening Indiana’s competitive advantage.”

Most recently, Christopher served as a strategic board and operating advisor to companies including Zylo and Pimly and as a co-founder and advisor to a Stealth Startup, an AI company building an AI productivity assistant at the center of agent orchestration and productivity. In his strategic advisor role, Christopher identified new investment opportunities, advised leadership on artificial intelligence and fundraising strategies, and connected Midwest founders with capital as an investment scout to venture firms located across the country including the Bay Area.

In 2016, he co-founded and served as CEO of Zylo, a SaaS Management Platform that earned honors as the TechPoint Mira Award Scale-Up of the Year in 2020 and 2023. Under Christopher’s leadership, Zylo was also recognized as a “Best Place to Work” in Indiana. Additionally, he held senior and early roles with ExactTarget, Sprout Social, and Shoutlet, that all eventually led to initial public offerings and acquisitions.

“Indiana’s tech sector is entering a defining period of opportunity,” said Eric Christopher, president and CEO of TechPoint. “Artificial intelligence, digital transformation and emerging technologies are reshaping how companies operate and compete. I am excited to work alongside TechPoint’s partners, founders, investors, innovators, and talented team to support the next generation of high-growth companies and strengthen Indiana’s position as a global leader in digital innovation.”

Christopher is a graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree. He regularly shares his industry expertise and insights as a speaker and thought leader, including serving as a guest lecturer with the Kelley School’s Entrepreneurship Undergraduate and MBA programs. He has also mentored first-time founders through High Alpha and fellows from the Orr Fellowship program.

“Indiana is gaining national attention for its leadership in digital innovation, particularly in artificial intelligence, enterprise technology and emerging software platforms,” said Melina Kennedy, CEO of CICP. “With strong research universities, growing venture investment and a collaborative business environment, our state is uniquely positioned to develop and deploy the technologies shaping the future economy. Eric’s leadership will help drive this next chapter of growth.”

Christopher was selected following a national search to replace Ting Gootee, who transitioned to a new leadership role with CICP.

Looking ahead, Indiana’s tech sector continues to grow as a key driver of economic opportunity, with thousands of technology companies across the state developing solutions in artificial intelligence, digital health, cybersecurity, software and advanced technologies.

As Christopher begins his new role, he will shape TechPoint’s strategic direction as the organization positions Indiana as a destination for innovation through initiatives focused on talent development, capital access, entrepreneurship and industry collaboration.
