Job Description

  • Job Summary/Basic Function: The IT Security Engineer will collaborate closely with our Lead Security Engineer to assess and mitigate risks within our environment. This role involves ensuring that security compliance requirements and standards are met, following the industry’s best practices to optimize our security posture, and developing and delivering cybersecurity training and awareness.  
  • Specific Responsibilities: Assess and mitigate risks in our environment, ensure security compliance requirements and security standards are being met, Security Operation Center and IR monitoring and response assistance, optimize our security posture, develop and deliver cybersecurity training and awareness, collaboration with Office of Information Technology leaders and support teams such as infrastructure, applications, asset management, software and hardware management, and end user support teams.
  • “Required Education and Experience:” Associate degree in a relative technical field and 3 years’ work experience
    OR a Bachelor’s degree in a relative technical field and 1 year of work experience. OR a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity.
