Indy-based Allegient expanding into Chicago, St. Louis and Boston markets
We love to hear about Indiana-based companies doing well and growing, and Indy-based Allegient is expanding into Chicago now with planned expansions into St. Louis and Boston over the next year.
One of the things we like about this expansion announcement is that Allegient has been named to the Indiana Chamber's "Best Places to Work" list three times in recent years, so it's kind of like Allegient is exporting a great workplace to other states in addition to its Microsoft platform enterprise solutions.
Here is the press release Allegient distributed this morning:
Allegient announces regional expansion into the Chicago IT market
Indianapolis, Ind. (July 21, 2014) – Indianapolis-based Allegient, renowned for best in class IT solutions, has revealed its framework for expanding into the Chicago market. The announced regional expansion is a result of unprecedented demand for Allegient’s top IT offerings combined with an influx of corporate relocations to the Midwest and existing customer base in Illinois.
“Enterprise organizations are realizing the Midwest has a solution for every IT need,” said Allegient CEO Gregg Gallant. “We pride ourselves on delivering on our promise to meet our client’s challenges with the tools and people who make continued success possible. Our ability to fulfill this commitment makes a physical expansion to the Chicago market the logical next step for Allegient.”
Allegient has an impressive list of clients including many of the largest enterprise organizations. John Holton, vice president of market development, says the company’s reputation is already opening up doors in Chicago as well as Central Illinois.
“We are focused on the Microsoft platform, and building on our already strong partnership with the local Microsoft teams,” said Holton. “The Illinois market has demonstrated a need for strong partners focused on delivering solutions built on the Microsoft platform. Having a reputation for solving the most complex organizational IT issues on time and on budget will continue to be our focus with every customer. Allegient wants to ensure that our customers are able to maximize the investments they have made in the Microsoft platform,” said Holton.
Chicago is just one of three offices that Allegient plans to open in the next 8-12 months. St. Louis and Boston are near-term expansion targets that are already in progress.
Allegient’s focus has and will continue to be in four main areas.
- Cloud − Cloud Readiness: Get Your Head In the Cloud
- Mobility − Business Anywhere: It Works Where You Work
- Data and Knowledge Management − Data and Analytics: Tap Your Data Goldmines
- Business Productivity − Work Redesigned: ReImagine, ReDesign, ReEngage
Leading our Chicago team is newly hired Kim Kirtley a 15+ year veteran of the Chicago IT community. “This is truly a team effort,” said Kirtley. “Our expansion is supported by a team of some of the industry’s most talented and experienced IT solution architects. I am excited to help bring the Allegient advantage to Chicago and Central Illinois.”
