The “Best of Tech” Mira Awards program has undergone some big changes, so if you haven’t nominated anyone or haven’t entered the awards yourself in a while, this is the year and now is the time. All entries are due by midnight on Friday, January 27.

This year there are 18 different award categories—more than ever before in the program’s 24 year history—and 10 categories are brand new. (See this year’s categories.

As the host of Indiana’s largest, best known and most prestigious technology awards, TechPoint was thrilled to once again host our annual celebration gala in person in last spring at the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis. To say the excitement of gathering together as a community again was palpable is insufficient. The crowd was downright rowdy in the best possible way!

Watch the video recap produced by PAETHOS of TechPoint’s 23rd annual Mira Awards gala celebration.

TechPoint expects the 2023 gala, which will be held on April 22, to be bigger and better because of a strategic effort to draw in nominations from across all industries throughout the state including technology, life sciences, advanced manufacturing and logistics, agribiosciences, academia and more. The new award categories reflect the importance of technology as an enabler of all other industries, as well as TechPoint’s focus on talent pathways into tech careers and the digital innovation that continues to drive disruptive change on a global scale.

Any company, startup, scale-up, city, school, team or individual may enter the Mira Awards. It is not required that you be nominated by someone else to enter the awards and affiliation with TechPoint through membership or sponsorship has no impact on the awards.
