GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for writing efficient code for application/service integration solutions that are a part of a larger solution, this role involves collaborating with teams to meet requirements, debugging, participating in code reviews, documenting processes, and staying abreast of tech trends.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design and implement integrations between different systems and applications
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code to support integration solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify integration requirements and design solutions
• Debug and troubleshoot integration issues
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices
• Document integration design, testing, and maintenance processes
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in integration engineering.
• Maintain compliance with the knowledge requirements outlined on the department intranet site
• Other duties as assigned.

- Application Admin: This position may have access to and be responsible for securely administering user access to corporate applications.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a related position
• Intermediate level understanding of integration patterns, frameworks, and technologies
• Advanced in one programming language used in integrations
• Intermediate level experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA) and microservices
• Beginner level knowledge of cloud computing, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Intermediate level familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, XML, HL7, and FHIR data formats
• Advanced level understanding of software testing and debugging
• Advanced level problem-solving skills
• Intermediate level ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Intermediate level track record of delivering results with a sense of urgency, integrity, and dependability
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Applicable Bachelors Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience
