Title of Position:  Senior Cybersecurity Engineer I Organizational Relationship: Reports to Manager, Cybersecurity Job Family: IT Managerial Responsibilities: None Discipline:  Cybersecurity Classification:  Exempt / Full-Time Location: #LI-Remote Location Considerations: Strong preference for candidates residing in Georgia, Utah, or Indiana GENERAL SUMMARY Responsible for managing and mitigating security risks across a network infrastructure and data centers. Designs and oversees security frameworks, leads incident response efforts, and mentors junior team members. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Evaluate, test, and recommend security solutions to protect networks and systems • Implement security controls, such as firewalls and encryption, to protect networks and systems • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security risks • Respond to security incidents and provide technical guidance to incident response teams • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies • Collaborate with system administrators and developers to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of IT operations • Train IT staff and other stakeholders on security best practices • Maintain compliance with the knowledge requirements outlined on the department intranet site • Other duties as assigned.
