The Senior Vice President – Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO) is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the organization’s digital transformation, information management, and technology initiatives. The CDIO will oversee developing, implementing, and maintaining digital strategies, information systems, and technologies to support the organization’s objectives. This position requires a visionary leader who possesses exceptional leadership skills and clear communication abilities who can effectively navigate complex digital landscapes, leverage emerging technologies, and drive innovation to enhance business processes, customer experiences, and organizational potential. Key Responsibilities: 
  • Digital Transformation Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy aligned with the organization’s goals, leveraging technology, data, and digital platforms to drive business growth, operational efficiency, and customer-centricity.
  • Data Management and Analytics: Establish data governance frameworks, data management processes, and analytics capabilities to enable data-driven decision-making, insights generation, and business intelligence across the organization. Drive the integration of paper-based and computerized patient records for efficient patient information management.
  • Technology Innovation: Monitor emerging technologies, digital trends, and industry best practices continuously. Assess their potential impact on the organization and lead initiatives to pilot and implement new technologies that enhance operational effectiveness and drive innovation.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, executive leadership, and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, gather feedback, and align digital and information management initiatives with organizational priorities. Foster strong relationships with senior leadership, front-line team members, and external partners to drive collaborative efforts and promote a culture of innovation.
  • Talent Management: Build and lead a high-performing team of digital and information professionals. Provide mentorship, development opportunities, and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Recruit, develop, and retain top talent capable of supporting the organization’s digital and information management needs.
Key Relationships Reports to: Erin Lewis, Executive Vice President – Chief Administrative Officer Direct Reports:  6 Direct Reports Key Relationships: Executive Leadership Team Candidate Qualifications Candidates for the position will be selected from a diverse pool and will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in digital strategy, information systems management, or related roles, preferably in a matrixed organization or industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving digital transformation initiatives and delivering innovative digital solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of digital technologies, trends, and emerging platforms, including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and mobile applications.
  • Experience managing large-scale information systems, infrastructure, and applications.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, data privacy regulations, and risk management frameworks.
