Prevounce is an innovative startup focused on creating software applications and connected medical devices that empower medical professionals to provide better remote patient care. Our cloud platform and other products are trusted by leading clinicians, hospital groups and health insurance companies to reduce costs, increase revenue while driving better health outcomes for patients. We have seen significant adoption of our products since launching in 2020 and are seeking talented and motivated individuals to join our tight-knit but growing team. We are looking for an experienced full stack software engineer to join our team. This position works directly under our Engineering Manager and Lead Developer to design, develop and maintain the Prevounce Portal and other supporting applications. This role will also work closely with other senior developers, project managers and other in-house stakeholders to design and implement new product features to continuously improve and evolve our core products. Responsibilities for this Role
  • Plan, design and implement software features for Prevounce web applications.
  • Participate and take ownership in advancing the architecture and technologies used to scale and improve our products.
  • Improve the software product by refactoring code, writing tests, documenting features and mentoring others.
  • Participate in the improvement of DevOps release and testing automation.
  • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Work collaboratively and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical staff about our software products, new features and our product roadmap.
Skills and Experience:
  • 4+ years of experience developing .Net web applications (familiarity with C# and Asp.Net MVC is preferred)
  • 4+ years experience working with relational databases (MySql is preferred)
  • 2+ years experience developing REST APIs
  • 2+ years experience using any modern Javascript Framework (React, Angular, AngularJs, Vue)
  • Intermediate experience working with Entity Framework
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles
  • Ability to work on a small team in a collaborative setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and apply new technologies, as well as older ones
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent proven experience working in the industry
Nice to Have
  • Experience working in health technology, EMRs or medical EDI.
  • Exposure to AWS technologies such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB and SQS
  • Experience with Hangfire
