Springbuk wins Company Culture of the Year Mira Award
Health intelligence software maker Springbuk won the Company Culture of the Year award during TechPoint’s 19th annual Mira Awards gala honoring the best of tech in Indiana.
Springbuk, the nation’s leading employer-facing health analytics software solution, grew from a start-up of five people to 60 full-time employee in three years, with more than half of the new hires joining in 2017. By building a team around four core cultural pillars — love, excellence, trust and hope — Springbuk has attracted some of the most sought-after software-as-a-service experts in the city. The team embodies a culture of giving, with every single team member looking for ways to give back to their teammates and their community.
The Mira Awards judges were impressed by Springbuk’s programmatic culture and diversity focus set forth by its founding duo and employee number three, Director of Experience Kristy Bittles, from day one. The company has since expanded its professional development efforts, provided easy feedback solutions for employees, developed a best-in-class onboarding process, spun up a Women Of Springbuk (WOS) Group and a women’s leadership group within the Union525 office, and created a fun, positive work environment.
The judges believe that Springbuk’s focus on culture is one of its greatest differentiators and has directly contributed to the company’s success — fueling financial growth (revenue more than doubled in 2017), employee growth (headcount more than doubled in 2017), and fundraising success (Springbuk recently announced a $20 million Series B Round).
