Clearly, there is a wealth of tech talent in the Hoosier state, and they are making incredible moves. Join us in celebrating the Tech 25 class of 2020 through this profile series and learn a bit more about each winner.

What led you to get into tech and this occupation? What was your first job in tech?

Technology is constantly changing. It is an evolving, innovative industry and something that is continuously impacting the way we do business. I knew I wanted a career that was fast-paced, exciting, and helped make a positive impact on consumers and the world. I am fortunate to still be working in my first company in tech— Genesys. I started out as a Sales Development Representative and worked my way up to now overseeing global training and enablement for all Sales Development Reps at Genesys. I love working with people while seeing them grow. I like how tech is always changing and never seems to get boring!

When you think of a day in your life, what are the main work activities you do or responsibilities you have?

My day-to-day includes building high quality, high revenue enablement programs to support Genesys’s global sales development function. I am responsible for all global training and enablement for sales development org and leadership in NA, LATAM, APAC, and EMEA. I implement continuous training programs and develop our go-to market playbook. I also create, coordinate, and implement training material in LMS and other channels. Responsible for a new employee onboarding program globally with a focus on improving the time it takes for our new hires to get ramped-up career tracks. I recently just completed our first ever Virtual Sales Development Conference.
