Invitation to the White House Rounds Out "Hat Trick" of Honors for Serial Entrepreneur

BlueBridge Digital Founder and CEO Santiago Jaramillo is having a pretty good summer. On April 20th, TechPoint awarded him the Young Professional of the Year Mira, and the "mobile-apps-as-a-service" pioneer has been riding a wave of local media attention ever since, including a "Rising Star" profile in The Indianapolis Star.

This week, Inc. Magazine featured Jaramillo in an article — "Young. Smart. Unstoppable." — and named him to their annual 30 UNDER 30 list of the World's Coolest Young Entrepreneurs. The article invites readers to meet the rising stars who are disrupting industries, making millions, and building highly successful companies — all before the age of 30.

Being summoned to the White House is not something many people experience, but Jaramillo was a guest at the administration's "Champions of Change: Immigrant Entrepreneurs and Innovators" ceremony yesterday. TechPoint President and CEO Mike Langellier nominated Jaramillo, and even though he was not selected as one of the 12 featured champions who gave speeches, the White House reached out to Jaramillo personally and invited him to attend the ceremony.
