What led you to the tech industry and this occupation? What was your first job in tech?

I’ve always wanted to find a way to combine business and art, and graphic design was my way to do that. From there, I started learning the ins and outs of marketing, which led me to this job, my first in tech. It was just a “right time, right place” kind of thing. This role has pushed me and encouraged me to grow quickly and exponentially, and I am so grateful for that.

When you think of a day in your life, what are the main work activities you do or responsibilities you have?

I would say my main role is to help get the ShipSigma name out to the public. Whether that be through content (blog, website, thought leadership), social media posts (brand, C-suite), or helping to streamline some of the sales process (automate cold outreach, create one-pagers, capabilities presentations), I am always working to make the ShipSigma brand known and consistent.

Which resources would you recommend to those who want to learn more or advance their skills in this occupation?

In general, I tend to recommend learning from the people around you, and if there aren’t people around, Google it.
