Inc. magazine released its 2013 Inc. 500|5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America today and Indianapolis-based BidPal, Inc. ranked number one among Indiana firms and 75th overall.

The ranking was determined by comparing revenue growth from 2009 to 2012, which for BidPal equaled a growth rate of 4,323 percent. That is not a mistake. Bidpal experienced a three-year growth rate of 4,323 percent!

Why do these rankings matter?

From the BidPal press release:
Companies on the Inc. 500 list represent the top tier of the Inc. 5000, and are featured in Inc. magazine’s September issue. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs. Companies such as Microsoft, Zappos, Intuit, Jamba Juice, Zipcar, Clif Bar, Vizio, Oracle, and many other well-known names gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 500|5000.

BidPal publicly attributes its sustained explosive growth to “continuously introducing new products and services” as well as its “dedication to solving nonprofits’ fundraising challenges from beginning to end with seamlessly integrated products.” But TechPoint blog readers and Tech Thursday attendees know the back story of this fundraising event technology company’s success.

Bidpal Chairman and CEO Scott Webber was the special guest speaker for TechPoint’s Tech Thursday last month and he shared his own “secret recipe” for success in business.
