TechPoint's Entrepreneur Bootcamp presented by Ice Miller is this Friday at Launch Fishers, and we asked some of the startups and entrepreneurs who have already registered why they are attending. If you are an early-stage or seed-stage startup or an entrepreneur with a great idea and you want to learn how to take the next step or reach the next level, you should register today.

This event has been specifically designed to help startups and entrepreneurs get their businesses to the next stage faster through small-group and peer discussion with workshops and direct access to more than a dozen subject matter experts who have founded or advised hundreds of tech startups and lead them to phenomenal success.

This is really very different from the bootcamps of the past because the agenda has been built around answering the specific questions of attendees.

  1. Is my business idea any good?
  2. How do I prove that my business idea will work?
  3. How should I structure my business?
  4. How should I fund my business?
  5. How should I pitch my business to investors?

There will be brief presentations by our distinguished subject matter experts, but most of the day will focus on identifying the needs, best practices, and next steps to accelerating the businesses represented in the room.

I'm always working on my pitch, so events like this Bootcamp will help bring my pitching to a new level. Especially right now, while we're fundraising, I'm shaking as many hands as possible. I think it's great that you were able to get Jeff Hoffman while he's here for VentureCamp.  As it says in your press release, ExactTarget and Angie's List were also once startups. We intend for Boosterville to be the PayPal for nonprofit fundraising.

I am attending the boot camp to further my knowledge of starting another business and getting sound business advice from others in the industry. I am looking forward to networking and meeting other entrepreneurs to try to make Indianapolis the small business capital of the world.

I am attending the Entrepreneur Bootcamp for multiple reasons.  First, I want honest feedback on the business idea we have developed.  Second, I want to learn key points about making the pitch. Third, I would like to build our network for finding the resources, from staffing to fundraising, we will need for success.
