BIOCROSSROADS: New Opportunities to Build a Healthier Indiana

Our next FrameWORX is scheduled for August 10, and we hope you join us for an important discussion about the state of health in Indiana – and how new laws will open pathways to better care for Hoosiers. Former Surgeon General Jerome Adams and a panel of experts will join us for “New Opportunities to Build a Healthier Indiana.” They will discuss the dynamics affecting the poor health of Hoosiers and the difference two new bills – Senate Bill 4 and Senate Bill 1 – will make now that they've become law.

As recently as April, the Indiana Capital Chronicle referenced “bottom-of-the-barrel public health metrics” the state has delivered. Indiana currently ranks 43rd in overall healthcare, and 42nd when it comes to mental health. Chronic conditions, such as diabetes, often drive the environment in Indiana. The new legislation will help more Hoosiers get the care they need and deserve.
