INDIANAPOLIS (February 17, 2025) — TechPoint, the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership’s industry-led growth initiative for Indiana’s digital innovation economy, today announced the entertainers who will perform at the 2025 Mira Awards, known as “The Oscars of Indiana Tech.”  

“The award winners are the stars of the Mira show. To celebrate their success, we are excited to feature some amazing artists,” said TechPoint President and CEO Ting Gootee. “The audience will be wowed by each of them, and happy to see a familiar face in a different facet.”   

The lineup of entertainers: 

  • The Herron High School String Quartet will perform during the cocktail hour.  
  • Dancer Alexis J will perform to open the gala and during intermission. 
  • Jazz pianist, keyboardist and composer Shawn McGowan will perform in the VIP space. 
  • The Chamber Music Band, led by Michael Huber, former president and CEO of the Indianapolis Chamber and now serving as TechPoint member Indiana University as vice president for university relations, will perform during the post party. 

The gala is Thursday, February 27, at the Palladium at Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts. The Mira Awards program recognizes excellence and innovation in 20 award categories highlighting organizations and individuals representing the best and brightest innovators across the state. Innovators in technology, life sciences, advanced manufacturing and logistics, agbioscience and academia for product and service innovations as well as those involved in developing the tech workforce, will be celebrated. Honorees are recognized for their product and service innovations, as well as for efforts in developing the tech workforce.
