PROGRAMMING
How does the program work?
TechPoint will place you on a team of eight students with business and tech backgrounds. Your team will work together to solve an issue outlined by leaders in the local community. During this experience, you will receive mentorship and guided instruction. Finally, you and your teammates will walk away with entrepreneurial mindsets, tech industry experience, and a network of students and professionals eager to support your future endeavors!
Kickoff.
Starting the first few weeks of June, TechPoint will launch The Pitch in-person here in Indianapolis. Housing will be provided for that weekend!
In Progress.
The remainder of the six-week program will be held virtually. Meet with mentors periodically to gain insight for your team project.
Finale.
The Pitch will end mid-July, when winners will be announced. To sweeten the deal, you have the chance to compete for a share of the cash prize!

The Pitch (formerly S.O.S Challenge) was originally created in 2020 when TechPoint felt the need to step in when the COVID-19 pandemic was at its height of affecting internship opportunities. Through the “Summer Opportunity for Students” our team built in less than two months a program to support 500+ students who had lost internship opportunities and we were only able to pull this off with the help of 200+ Coaches supporting our ninety student teams.
Given these small pivots, we’ve also decided that we want to not only invest in our students but those coaches that make this all possible by providing more refined formal training and leadership skills. If you are someone who is:
• Currently an individual contributor at your company
• Have less than ten years of experience in the tech industry
• Interested in gaining leadership and mentoring skills and experiences
• And want to support building a pipeline of awesome talent in our very own city of Indianapolis
