What led you to get into tech and what was your first job in tech?
My first job in tech was the director of customer happiness for One Click Ventures. After helping scale One Click’s service team, the company was acquired by FGX International. Following the acquisition, I moved on to the director of client success for UpNest, one of Inc 5000’s fastest growing companies with a location in Indiana, before joining the gener8tor team last year. After the first opportunity to work in tech, I knew that I would be in tech going forward.
What are the main work activities you do or responsibilities you have?
My day-to-day activities as a gBETA Director include being a resource for start-ups in Indiana. I work with entrepreneurs offering support, connections, and mentorship opportunities for early-stage companies in our local tech ecosystem. I make connections with corporations, subject matter experts, and investors to new company founders and entrepreneurs to help level-up those companies to make an impact on our communities as-a-whole.
