Just a week after Inside Indiana Business dedicated its show and numerous interviews to women entrepreneurs throughout Indiana (many of whom are in tech), The Indianapolis Star reserved nearly two whole pages of its Sunday edition to 10 influential women in tech: How they're making a difference.

This type of coverage is unprecedented for Indianapolis. Personally, I can't recall any coverage of women in tech and women entrepreneurs nearly this extensive in recent years, and I think there is significant demand from the community for these stories.

Of course, nobody needs a special week or time of year to profile or celebrate successful women. In fact, TechPoint is eager to profile Indiana-based tech businesses and startups, and the women behind them.
