MOBI Wins Tech Company of the Year Mira Award
MOBI, the industry-leading mobility management cloud software platform provider, received the Tech Company of the Year Award during TechPoint’s 18th annual Mira Awards honoring the best of tech in Indiana.
In just seven years, MOBI grew from a fast-growing startup to the Gartner Magic Quadrant-recognized, industry-leading mobility management cloud software platform provider. MOBI enables enterprises to centralize, comprehend, and control their entire device ecosystems, which saves companies money and satisfies all global enterprise needs.
In 2016, the company hired 115 people, growing to more than 300 employees worldwide total, and added 34 new customers to its already impressive roster, including Symantec (11,000 employees), American Express (56,000 employees), and ABB Group (140,000 employees). With these new accounts came international expansion to more than 30 countries.
Last year’s Company Culture of the Year Mira Award winner, MOBI continued to win awards for its unique approaches to doing business, including being ranked among CRN’s 20 Coolest Cloud Software Vendors of 2016.
The Mira Awards judges believe MOBI’s software-first enterprise solutions set them apart from everyone else because the industry is focused on services while MOBI builds the tools that make reliance on services largely unnecessary.
MOBI launched new products in 2016 that continue to stand the traditional business telecommunications model on its head, solving problems and saving companies money, which is the key to MOBI’s 97 percent customer retention rate. From sustainable code pushes to rapid feature deployment, MOBI applies its substantial tech talent to mitigate risk in a business category that is known to overwhelm those who can’t stay ahead of tech disruptions.
